Promotion offer ended before message received

Hi everyone, I received an E-bay message in my messages with an offer of 100 free insertions for free.

The message was sent May 7,Monday. The offer was for May 2 to may 6.

What gives ???

Same here and it has happened in the past. Sometimes they send and oops! message and then activate the offer, sometimes they don't and it's lost to oblivion!

Re: Promotion offer ended before message received

I received the (after the fact) email this morning also.

However, I had happened upon the promotion under "Promotions" of the "All Selling" link on the seller dashboard on Sunday.  There was a $20 final value fee cap promotion there as well, expiring today 5/7

I activated using that link and seems to have worked.  Made a note to check that page more frequently.

I also received the free listings email after the fact.  Luckily, I check my seller hub daily for any promotions and activate from there.  And I agree this is not the first time this has happened.

Re: Promotion offer ended before message received

Received the delayed free insertion email and tried to activate it and received error message that the offer was expired. Today I received the oops message. Would prefer to receive the actual offer rather than a note telling me to check the promo sections. That's what I rely on the messages for, to notify me of anything important.
