Promoted listing views down >50%

Just wanted to check and see if this is normal. Promoted views are down about 1M views per day the last two days, and looks like today will make 3.  No changes made to promotions, no change in seller status or service metrics. Just a sudden drop. If I can fix it, I'm happy to-but I don't know what the issue might be.

@noesatticonline  some of us have noticed what appears to be a test the last few days where eBay is removing most of the Promoted Listings ads from the View Item page.

eBay has stated in the past that most PL impressions come from the View Item page, not from search, so if this test is widespread it could definitely cause a significant drop in Promoted impressions.

Has a ticket been opened regarding the recent decrease in PL impressions? Over the past week, my PL impressions have decreased by 22% and the quantity sold has decreased by 61%. Despite reasons such as the economy or summer slowdown, this is not normal for me. It seems like everything came to a screeching halt last weekend. I reached out to customer service earlier this week and was informed that everything was fine, however, I strongly believe that something is majorly wrong.

Same thing happened to me. It's going down 4% on everything each day since the 16th. I called eBay and they said it was a glitch and put a ticket in for me. It's completely ridiculous, I'm losing sales and faith in this company.

I called and spoke to someone today and she told me she wasn't aware that a ticket has been opened. She knew of the problem as she has spoke to other users with the same issue. She said they are supposed to have a meeting today and she was going to see if a ticket can be opened. Who knows if that's truly the case or not? I'm also losing faith as this is now going on for a week with no resolution.
