Problems Listing Products / Typing is super slow.

Anyone having issues when listing? Typing in info is super slow. My first entry, slow but works, second it grays out and I get the eBay is down right now. Second night in a row. What a joke.

Have you considered it is your connection or device not eBay?

Any difference if you try another browser, or a private or incognito browser window? Or if you disable browser add-ons?

Nothing seems to work, it's just super laggy just to even type out the title. I've tried every available browser and get the same results every time.  This makes listing so annoying.

Have you tried disabling add-ons?

In the past there have been some add-ons associated with slow-downs including ad blockers and in particular grammar checking add-ons like Grammarly and Language Tool have caused issues with text entry, causing the cursor to move between individual keystrokes.

I'm here to chime in on this titling lag as well. HEY WHAT A SURPRISE I'M TYPING RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW IN THIS EBAY FORUM WINDOW AND CAN TYPE AS FAST AS I WANT TO. But creating a title on the listing, the lag is so bad that I'm getting one character every 3 seconds.

Now let me put to rest all the "have you tried...."

I have tried: Turning off Chrome extensions, making sure Chrome is up to date, deleting the cache and cookies, deleting and reinstalling Chrome, making sure Windows is up to date, not using WiFi and going hard wired, using another browser like Firefox, using another browser like Edge, using another browser like Brave, installing max RAM, REFORMATTING THE ENTIRE COMPUTER, using another very fast computer altogether, using another very fast computer in ANOTHER LOCATION with 1000GB download service, calling eBay and asking what's wrong (they had/have no idea, no answers and will forward it to their team Yeah OK). Same lag every time. Guess what? The problem is not on my end. And for any of you having this problem, the problem is not on your end. Stop slamming your head against the screen because it's not your fault.

I want to make this very clear. Even on a slow computer with slow service like the one I'm sitting on right now, I can type in this very window as fast as I can. 60wpm average. On Googe, on anywhere else on the internet I can type as fast as I want to....just not on the Title portion of eBay's listing. Less so in the description but yes there is lag there too. There is ZERO lag in the "Condition Description" window. Soooo, what's the difference in that window, eBay?  I don't know what's going on at eBay regarding the 80 character title. I don't know what it's sniffing for or what's creating the lag. For the love of all things holy it's only 80 characters, people. At 3 seconds per character I can type an 80 character title in only 240 seconds.

What's the workaround? I'll tell you. Have a notepad open at all times. 80 character title gets typed into that at light speed. Copy/Paste to the mollasses slow eBay title. Then rely on templates to get through the description. I love ebay, but this is annoying AH. Fix it eBay.
