Problem with using "Add combination" within the "Variation combinations" page.

Put simply, it doesn't work anymore.

I click it, and all that happens is the box around the variations jumps up a line closer to where the button is.

Tried this in two different browsers, same deal.  I normally use Firefox, but tried Edge as well too. Both react the same way.  It was working fine yesterday.

If I delete all the entries, cannot re-add.

But it will auto-fill the entries if I let it by changing the Attributes.  Which I don't want to do.

I like having this feature, as I have multiple brands of these to list eventually.  Just want to be sure its not something I'm doing wrong, or should do differently or something just wrong with it and not me.  As I said, it was working just fine, but now I can't add any combinations at all.

I tested my other variation listings and have the same results.

I may try a draft one and see if I can from a fresh start.  Will update if that works, but something is bugged out here.

I think that had something to do with them not being able to see the listing properly, I don't think it actually fixed anything. Personally I don't even know where they're finding the option to switch or what they were using to see that option. I'm assuming it's on the mobile side of things.

This has been going on far too long. I can't edit my listing and update my inventory. I've tried work arounds to "add all combinations" by adding a dummy variation to trigger it and then go in and delete the combinations I still don't need - but even that approach fails to save. I've wasted hours trying to work around this and lost missed sales with inventory sitting around that I can't list!!!

I opened a ticket - with care - but appears to have taken no action. Have others opened tickets and called in? How do we escalate this?

Another day, another call as once again there is still no solution. Was told that a bulk message has been sent out to all at the customer service that this is a known issue and that IT is working on it. This does nothing for any of us at this time as we still can't make our listings as we would like to and as we have been doing for years.

This is unfortunate for all of us and I just wish that there was some possibility of getting in touch with someone higher on the ebay foodchain to have a chance at explaining why this is a serious problem for us. I can say it is hurting us as we have "new release" items that have release dates with them. We have now missed them as our "off ebay" competitors bring in the rewards.

Come on ebay, we lose money, you lose money. We lose more money, you lose accounts.....

Same here  - saw the bug last week and just decided to wait again and try - hoping it would be fixed. Still and issue as of 4/19/22 in Firefox and IE. Perhaps by the end of summer we'll get this functionality back

That's the incident number to a specific user's call. The formal ticket number can be found on the sticky post in this forum, but I copy and pasted the info below for anybody that doesn't want to go looking for it.

Yeah, this is a big problem.  I had just replied to a seller that had asked me about it directly.

Be sure to refer to the above tech code that has been given.  The Alert 13702 when calling it about it.  Be sure to call in though.  Use the details located here:
