Hello! Please answer me why since yesterday I have a problem with the amount that the system defines as the minimum for bidding in auctions? For example, an item with a temporary auction price of 1 dollar I try to bid 1.25 dollars, as is the case with eBay rules, but the bidding system tells me that I must bid 1.50 dollars or more, which is against the rules. The same applies to absolutely all my attempts to bid in auctions, such as an auction with a temporary price of 0.01 cents, when I try to bid up to 0.06 cents, the system again does not allow me and requires me to bid again at a minimum of 0.26 cents or more, etc. I really do not understand what is the reason for this problem in the system and the rules that appeared yesterday. Yesterday I paid more money for items I won at auctions because the system was not functioning properly and I was forced to place higher bids than if your bidding system was functioning normally!

eBay is apparently experimenting with larger bid increments in some situations.
Try bidding via the app and see if you can place your original bid; the app may work differently than the web site.

In that case, it may be in your best interest to make the first bid if you want to bid a specific amount less than the larger increment. Then the larger increment works for you, instead of against you.

Ebay recently announced new bid increments.
I have no reason to find out how they implemented them, since I rarely bid on auctions and when I do I bid the maximum I am willing to pay immediately
