I spoke to ebay support yesterday about a couple problem we are having since the Spring Update-- With listing new items, editing current items and relisting ended items.
When I was on the phone with eBay the person attempted to relist an item that we were having trouble with and they received the same error. They passed it on to the technical department
Editing Current listings; some work fine others when you click Revise it waits a few seconds and gives us the following: "The page isn't redirecting properly, Firefox has detcted that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." cgi5.ebay.com We have tried bulk editing as well and it says "opps something went wrong and item couldn't load"
Also when editing currently listed items, we are losing our photos that we took of the item and it is setting it back to the default Catalog picture. Which in many cases may only be the Company/Brand logo. We are losing years of very hard work here
Listing new items or relisting and ended item -- Oops something has gone wrong!
We have tried on 3 different computers with Windows 10, 8 as well as a Mac and the mobile app. Using Firefox, Chrome, Safari and IE and they all give the same problem

We have the same problem. This issue , I'm told, is in the auto parts compatibility area. They are working on it. In the mean time we are losing sales.

Did eBay actually admit to the problem? When I called they said they haven't had any other tech calls with the same issue.
Why are you going to be locked out of your listings?

From eBay Support
Regrettably, I wasn't able to fully close the loop on the business impact this particular site issue is having. I've definitely raised the concern in terms of impact to your account but further data about affected users remains outside our grasp. I've engaged our Advanced Apps team and our Parts and Accessories merchants (some of the biggest accounts on eBay), and solicited further examples of users impacted. It is my hope that these reports will roll in quickly and heavily, and allow us to carry the ball much faster regarding resolution.
I consider being locked out of my listings when I'm not able to edit quantity prices description or image.
This first started out with a small amount of my listings now is over nine thousand out of thirteen thousands listings.
I really hope they get this fixed soon

To EBAY support person
Francine is working on this for me. All 81 items remaining in my unsold folder, anr affected and cannot be relisted or Listed. The problem is the EBAY catalog if it is used. More than 300 will be affected within a few days! For reference the SR # is SR# 1-151700097589
For Others with this problem
Same problem, it started March 7th. I have contacted EBAY and spoken with over 7 people. Finally Francine figured it out, and if you are using thh EBAY Motors compatiblity charts (even if using something like Auctiva), it blows up and erros out. No way to use the compatibility chart/catalog. It is some kind of problem with thier catalog. and I suspect it is not just me but others who are getting killed right now. You cannot sell similar, or relist so you need to build a new ad and not include a compatibility chart or catalog from EBAY. You can only custom build a chart.
Auctiva cannot even import the EBAY catalog, it will schedule and error out. Even if you try to create a new boring ad in EBAY, it blows up as soon as you try to enter the model number to load the compatibility chart. Francine tried this several times. The only way to have compatibilty is to build your own which can take hours per ad.
They have no solution as of today and it has been 11 days, although Francine and I did not this figure out the exact problem until around 3/14 or 3/15. They said it was just my ads for some reason and was low priority. But assured me it was nothing to do with my site or my performance over and over. But apparently others are seeing it as well now. If your ads end, you will be stuck unable to relist or list it again unless you do not use the catalog. But EBAY gets upset if you don't use the catalog and nobody will find your stuff or will buy the wrong item for thier vehicle.
THIS IS NOT GOOD.
They did give me 3 months of free store while they figure this out, but I am losing thousands in sales, and they are losing EBAY fees!

This is ridiculous that it isn't fixed.
The listings that you can edit and eBay catalog is replacement our custom photos with the stock photo has now cost us.
The photo eBay uses is incorrect (it shows black as the color). We uploaded the correct photo and in the inital listing it was correct, we then edited the quanity at some point and it place the incorrect photo back in the listing. Of course we did notice it, someone purchased. They of course wanted black and now are returning it as not as described.
Keep an eye on your listings if you can edit them and are using customer photos.....
