PayPal checkout not working

Today I Unlinked my Paypal Account from Ebay, then relinked it same problem It will not go to paypal from ebay

I can go directly to Paypal no problem.

Does anyone from Ebay monitor this info

I was finally able to actually make a phone contact with Ebay customer service and explained the situation.
I was told that I would be contacted within 48hrs

Unless this is a new problem, I've had a problem with the "quick log-in" for weeks.
I think it's a PayPal problem with the auto sign-in.
Open a new tab, go to Paypal, and manually sign-in.
Return to your spinning wheel and refresh the page.
It should open then. It's worked for me.

Citi credit cards started a new rewards program this month with some of their branded cards that gives rewards points for paypal purchases.  They said that they would automatically link with your paypal account if you were using their card to pay for paypal purchases.   I wonder if people experiencing this problem are using these specific citi branded cards, such as the AT&T card.

Has nothing to do with card
The link from ebay to paypal is not working
I can login Directly to Paypal no problem and make purchases on other sites using paypal

Looks like eBay made some changes/updates again, which resulted in things not working correctly ..... a common theme.

Been having the same problem for days now. Tried everything including unlinking my ebay and paypal accounts and now I am unable to relink them. Ebay and paypal customer support don't have an explanation and are pointing fingers at each other. Have simply been using the credit card option to pay for items. Ironically, ebay must create a temporary paypal guest account for buyers that pay directly with a credit card because items are showing up on my credit card account as paypal purchases however there is no record of them in my paypal account. It should be noted that paypal appears to be linking properly when purchasing on other sites.

Can confirm I’m having the same problem as everyone else. EBay will not connect to PayPal. Just an endlessly spinning blue wheel. Can log in to PayPal’s website fine. It seems to be a problem with eBay. Finally just had to pay with my purchase via credit card. Frustrating!

I am unable to pay my eBay fees because for some reason after many years somehow the automated payment method was cancelled, not by me. Suddenly I get a message saying my seller fees haven't been paid for this month and I check and sure enough no automated payment method selected. 

Tried reconnecting auto payment no luck, tried one time payment no luck. keeps saying either login in to PayPal home page to verify account ( which I did numerous times) or states we cannot connect to PayPal at this time. I can login in directly to PayPal no problem. I called and they stated the auto payment is an issue they are aware of, and are working on might be up to 72 hours and the one time payment they are trying to blame on PayPal, except I quickly pointed out I can login to PayPal no problem on its own site. Lady said she would contact me in a few hours and would try to find out what the issue was, didn't call me until a day later and I missed her call.

I think I may have a solution for some. I never verified my PayPal account before because I didn't want to link it to a bank account.

I would use PayPal and my bills would be charged to my credit card. So I finally decided to verify my account by linking it to one of my bank accounts.

When I signed back into eBay, I went to try and pay again. The box came up asking if I wanted to do quick checkout by having eBay/PayPal remember me.

Normally, I used to say no, but I clicked yes, and suddenly I got in and was able to pay my sellers.

It might be worth trying if you've never verified your PayPal account.
