I recently started getting only 5 items (plus adds) in any search for any item I try to find on ebay. Needless to say, this is making ebay unusable. Anyone know what's going on?

That isn't working for anyone. It is an eBay issue, not an issue with everyone else.

Your blanket statement is mistaken: several users have indicated that clearing browser cache (one user specifically indicated for "all time") has worked for them.

Saying "It is an eBay issue" does not actually solve the problem for anyone, or provide more search results.

Not everyone is experiencing this problem; there may be more than one problem. What works for one user may not work the same for another with a different setup. There are no guarantees; hence the advice: Try clearing your browser cache (for "all time").

The search is working perfectly fine for me.

I can get full pages only by going into advanced and searching by price. I only get the 5 results if I go into a basic search.

Yes I cleared it for all time. Still 5 items. However, today I tried searching again and get a full page of results... Go figure. Hope we with the issue are in the minority and it's solved now.
