As of Thanksgiving day (11/24/2016), I am no longer receiving any email notifications from ebay regarding messages, sales, best offers, newly listed items, canceled listings, return requests... pretty much everything except for eBay's promotional offer emails.
I have checked all of the communications settings in my communication prefrences and nothing has changed.
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue and if this is, perhaps, just a glitch in eBay's system?

Notifications have been super slow to arrive for us. Arriving about 5-8 hours after transaction. Hope they get this fixed soon.

It's been a couple of months for me, as well. I have called them on several occasions and they have had me call my ISP (who says if I am receiving some and not other notifications from ebay, it is their techical problem). I have dumped my caches (didn't work). One person took out all my saved searches and put them all back--still no notifications. Another had me shut off ALL my communications and put them all back on 48 hours later--then wait 48 hours to see if that works--NOPE (it's been a week now).
Nothing seems to work. I called again today and it seems like they haven't a clue that there seems to be any kind of problem there--SO--does tech support even know there is a problem?
I'm about to hang up using eBay since I don't get notifications for my watched items, my saved searches, nothing if I bid on something to tell me it was bid on, or outbid, or even if I won so I know I need to pay for it!
I'm glad to see I am not the only one, but upset that they are not doing anything to fix this problem. I don't get anything important from them, but I get some of the "offers" that mean nothing to me, especially since, if I take advantage, I won't know if I won and need to pay or not!
Is there any way to get around the first line of people and get to a techician so the KNOW where the problem is? Even if a report goes to the tech support people, do they know the full extent and the things tried to fix the problem?
I loved ebay for years, but about to just drop the from my source of buying anything.

To add a possible clue:
I have my own domain name, and hosting provider, and can set up email addresses there as I need. I noticed that all communications from ebay (such as messages about saved search results) stopped on the day that I moved from one email hosting provider to another. The move preserved my domain name and email addresses, they were just served from a different provider.
Assuming that ebay continued to send to <myname>@<mydomain>.com, ebay's emails should have continued arriving, but they did not. This should have been completely transparent to ebay. Emails from other correspondents continued to arrive, no problem.
For a year I only used ebay via the ebay website messaging, no email. After a year I returned to trying to get email to work. Thinking ebay had got confused for this one email address, I used the account settings to change to a different address, but still at the same domain. At that point ebay sends a test email that requires you to confirm that you asked for the change. That did not arrive. So I then changed to a third address, this time at gmail. Again ebay sent a test email, and that arrived within seconds.
My conclusion is that ebay's outgoing email system caches some information about email recipient's domains, for example perhaps caching the IP address associated with the domain. But it never updates that info, so if the IP address (for example) changes, ebay never figures it out, and can never again communicate with that domain. Whatever it's doing is stupid and frustrating, no doubt.

It has absolutely nothing to do with Google Chrome as previous people say.
Think about it. The computer selects where to send the notification. If you gave a mobile number, just change it to a land line number. I did.Problem solved
Emails return and notifications stop!

I just received 2 messages from ebay today April 18 2019.
Date on both April 16th 2019.
I replied to a message from a buyer on the 16th , since unread message are in bold it is 100% unlikely that I didn't see the messages from ebay directly below the message I answered.
One message was item not received, telling me I have until tomorrow, so no response from me to buyer immediately which should have been done, because Ebay didn't get message to me until 2 days later
Does anything work right ??
