Not able to revise item description

Auction has more than three days left. No one has bid or put item on "watch".

I was able to edit the item title, and add / remove photo's. These changes appeared instantly.

Try as I might however, I cannot edit the item description. After making edits and clicking on "preview" the edits appear in the new window as I want them changed. When I finally click on "revise" though, the listing does not show any changes to the description. When I then click on "revise your item" again, the revisions page pops up and all my changes are still showing.

For some reason, the changes are not being saved or shown on two different machines. So, I can only revise Title and Photo's.

For now, I got around this annoyance by adding a photo with text (screen save) to take the place of editing the item description.

In the future however, I would like to know why my description edits are not being saved.

Is it possible you are looking at an old "cached" version of the page?

When I view your item I see the following update at the top of the description:

Try holding down the shift key and refreshing the page to bypass the cached copy and see the latest version of the page.

I am experiencing the same exact issue as the op. Refreshing the page while holding down the ctrl key to bypass the cached copy does not work. The same issue persists across multiple browsers. Definitely a site issue...

Thanks for that reply. Holding shift while refreshing did not change anything, and I'm surprised you can see that edit.

So far, I've checked the page on 3 different computers with 3 different browsers and none of them show my description edits. 2 of those machines had never accessed that auction item.

I am having the same problem on a few of my Buy it Now listings, has a solution been found?

Same issue, can't edit description and image upload says successful but doesn't really update when I see the listing. Different computers and browsers, same issue.
