I have been having issues with slow sales for the past 4 weeks. My sales are down about 60%. I have been selling for over 15 years, have approximately 1400 items listed and have continued to list on a daily basis - so NOTHING has changed on my end. For the past 2 days my sales have been ZERO. This has never happened before. I have spoken to Ebay on several occasions over the last 4 weeks with no resolve. Has anyone else experienced this? Would Ebay Technical Services PLEASE look at my store? I would love to speak to someone from TS - however, there is no way to do that anymore. Thank you for your time.

I am also dealing with no activity on my accounts. I have two and they were both very busy until about two weeks ago and now... Crickets. I don't know what is going on. So much inventory and nothing is moving 😞

Sadly, still slow and NO RESPONSE from Ebay- frustrating!

When I have slow sales on Ebay, I have slow sales everywhere.
I am having slow sales everywhere.
It is the Easter Passover season and it tends to slow down for me.
Retail sales have been slowly dropping since February.
Consumerism is probably dead as people are becoming more selective about what and how much they buy.
Unemployment is still high.
Stimulus checks are late for those who would probably buy your items.

We are also having very unusual, very slow sales over the past 3 or 4 weeks, with no change to our listing behavior or content. We believe eBay has changed something to drive seller behavior -- you'd think they'd just ask us to do something different, instead of manipulating us into it.

I feel that numerous people are being extra careful with their spending. The ongoing economy slowed down and the pandemic continuing on, may have caused others to minimize their spending. one year ago this was supposed to be a 2 week thing, and yet here we are 1 year latter. The vaccine is out, but it will take time for everyone to be vaccinated, meanwhile business have closed, people lost their jobs etc etc. Its a domino effect. It is not a booming economy.
Best to see what is selling, and work with that.
Good luck.

Sales are slow, eBay isn't advertising, but they DO recommend some high as heck "trending" percentages for promoted items...
They collect the ad fees but don't do jack to compete with the Posh Mark, Etsy, Amazon, etc advertising.. so they are just pocketing that money.
But they got us sellers roped into thinking we need to promote our listings to sell things... well in reality, it's just another way for them to collect and pocket extra fees. And another way to collect bigger final value fees cuz buyers see a promoted listing that is at a very high price, cuz the seller put a very high promotion percentage fee for eBay to collect, and un-savvy buyers just see that item, like it, want it and buy it, without looking it up to see if there are same items listed at a cheaper price..
Very smart marketing for eBay... very sad for buyers and sellers.

Yes, here too. However, there are tricks to try. Refresh your listings. One you can end them all and relist them, better yet if you have the time. End some of them then go to unsold listings/ sell similar. Change something small in the title and relist it as a new listing. I have found that when I am adding new listings I sell more, even my old listings seem to sell. So when I don't have anything new to list, I end and sell similar of the same items I have listed. This puts your listings to the top for a short period. I also signed up for the automatic promotions. I don't like it but that is the new wave if you want to sell on here. I cap my promotions at 8% and stay above suggested by .1% this seems to help too.

Yes its seems like ebay is robbing two way seller as well as buyer getting expensive goods

Normally I sell 5 to 10 items a day but I haven't had a sale since March 27th, which is 24 days. I've been selling the same products on E-bay for over 8 years, I've always been a top rates seller plus I waste money on promotional listing fees. My sales are still doing well on my website and Amazon, so must be something to do with the new search updates and the changeover to the new seller hub. I'm starting to think paying for promotional listings is a waste of money since only about half of my promoted listing are even showing up on the first or second page.

My sales and page view drop sharply after the beginning of April 2021, now like a “invisible store” with lesser and lesser page view, no emails nor sales, only 1 sales from a returner buyer… try everything like promotions(It was totally useless because no one can see the promotions!!!) My gut feeling is eBay is having some changes/system glitch again !
But this time may be worser coz I had try re-publish the item but more issue happens - the system restricted some items and not allow me to re-list, 1 item even is the same item I sold in March! (But the system says my sales had no record of selling this type of item, obviously is a system error!) Another item also restricted to re-publish because of duplicated items, in fact I never have duplicated items, seems the system are getting worser & worser!!!
Just contact CS but still no reply….

Am not a seller any more, but am just wondering: Now that the Covid-19 restrictions are eased somewhat, and more folks are getting the vaccine, is it possible that shoppers are returning to in-person shopping in stores as opposed to online shopping? The weather is getting nicer also, at least in my part of the world, so another reason to shop in person.
