Hi all,
If like me you want to find back all your lists (other than you "watch list"), I'd suggest checking in your bookmarks as well. You may check all the browsers you've used in the past few months, if you haven't deleted your search data. I just pasted the names of my eBay lists I could remember, and this allowed me to find back four (out of eleven!) additional lists I had created over then last 9 years. Unfortunately, that's only possible for me to do it from one browser and one desktop ... And for how long is it going to be?

You should still be able to access all your other lists by selecting the large "Watchlist" heading from your Watch List page to reveal the dropdown as shown in the picture in first reply in this thread.

Hi,
Thank you so much for this very helpful screenshot. Thanks to your help I could find all my personnal lists and am so relieved that this option (keeping personnal lists, to complement users' very restrictive "Watch lists") hasn't been removed along with the introduction of the new layout and other changes!

eBay must have been hacked, no way can a company be this stupid to keep making these terrible changes. That new watchlist is horrid!
You must be new to eBay,. Yes, they really are that stupid. I think that they must have a R&D group dedicated to coming up with stupid ideas like this.

I managed to come up with a hack. It's not the most elegant, but it does work (for the moment).
Using your "All Lists" link, pull up the consolidated list. Each item will have a note saying which list it's actually saved to. To get to that list in the old format, choose an item on, for example, your Wish List, and open the link. (I like to open links in new tabs, but that's just me). Once the item listing comes up, there should be a blue banner at the top that says that the item is saved in your X list, and the list name should be a link that opens the list. From there, you can bookmark the list URL.
It's the only way I've been able to do any list maintainance the past several days. I tried doing my housekeeping (deleting duplicates from relisted items and the like) using the dropdown-from-watch list links. Sure, I could pull up my custom lists (eventually; the javascript is buggy as all get out), and I could even delete and move a few things, but after a certain point, I couldn't delete items. I got the notice that "x number of items were deleted", but the listings were still sitting there, and the number of items on the list didn't change. The only way to task manage was to go through the consolidated list, or find my lists via the above hack.
Neither should be necessary; looks like a bunch of management types have once again ignored H.L. Mencken -- change is not progress.

I am not new to eBay by any means, I am a top-rated seller and powerseller on and off since 1999. My personal account is from 2006 before yours even, 12 years and I am even a top-rated and sometimes powerseller on that one as well. So not sure how you would make that conclusion, as I have also complained on here for many years now. That was the point of my post, that they actually are that stupid.

There is no setting or information anymore to know if your wish list or other lists are private.
If you find something you want in your wish list or other lists select to add it to your choice of list. On that same page where it says saved in your wish list click on the wish list and you will go back to the old list. They have not updated that hyperlink yet.

I wish the idiots at E-bay would spent the time to fixing their search engine instead of ALL this cosmedic **bleep** which is just that
I've worked in programing and this should have been a simple fix but I've been after E-bay to fix this for over 4 years now...
Here's a good example of what I mean:
Type in "Jerry Garcia Ties" and see what you get...
Ok
Now type in "J Garcia Ties" and now see what you get...
You get 2 entirely different serches for the same exact item [Yes I know at some point SOME of them show up on both serches] causing the buyer to spend/waste more time looking instead of spending money on purchasing.
This was only one example but I'm sure you guys have found a lot more of this going on all almost every item. I find myself wasting more and more time serching

This "revised" my ebay is an answer to a question no one asked. Probably a classic example of the minority messing it up for the majority.

I really don't like it either. Aside from all the wasted space you can no longer delete individual items as you go through the list. You have to select a checkbox on each one, then scroll all the way back to the top to click a delete button. That's a terrible design, change it back!

I also noticed that the new Watch List sometimes shows the item's condition in German for no reason. Sometimes it shows "Condition: Neu" or "Condition: Gebraucht" even though I'm using the U.S. eBay site, my account is registered to a U.S. address, and the items I'm watching are from U.S. sellers.
I've seen this on multiple computers using multiple different web browsers, so it's definitely a problem on eBay's end of things, not mine.
