Check your inbox. Ever since eBay permanently switched everyone's Messages to the new version, I have had random deletions of messages, both old and recent. I never delete any of my messages, but when I go into my Inbox lately, I have trouble finding certain messages, then eventually find them in the Delete folder.
Very strange. I suggest reporting this to eBay. They never take care of glitches until they are bombarded with reports.
