NO IMPRESSIONS since managed payments

brian@ebay tyler@ebay brittanie@ebay

why have my promoted impressions fell off the face of the earth?!?! Ever since I switched to managed payments I get almost no traffic.. My store was going great until OCT 26 when managed payment kicked in! see the picture attached below to see what I'm talking about! I list everyday with no real change in impressions! It looks like I have a cap on the impressions

We have the exact same problem!  We have called multiple times and spoken to them about it and nothing has been done.  This is seriously a problem!!

Re: NO IMPRESSIONS since managed payments

@shippiesautoparts  - it may not be specifically about Managed Payments.  Many US based Motors category sellers saw a similar trend happening back in early September and other categories seemed to be affected at different times too (some sellers were in MP and others were still on PayPal).  @zamo-zuan had an excellent post about it.

There were never any direct answers from eBay but the likely scenario seemed to be that eBay may have made some changes to the Promoted Listings algorithms that were rolled out to different sellers/different categories at different times.

I see you are in Canada.  I hadn't thought about it at the time, so I'm not sure if everyone in that thread was a US seller, but it certainly could be possible that in addition to factoring in category, eBay could have also been factoring in location and maybe those changes are just now being applied to non-US based sellers as well.  That is completely a guess on my part, so take it with a huge grain of salt.

Unfortunately many sellers who have reported seeing this issue have also reported that the only thing they have found to correct it is to increase their PL rates - effectively paying more to get the same performance they were seeing previously.
