I too have the same problems as everyone here.
I have encountered, the "Sorry, there are system errors. Please try again".
And when that error doesn't appear, I frequently get the he eternal "Adding..." animation while trying to add something to the collections.
I suspect this last one is a result from the first one. It thinks the first action is still going, so It "waits" until the first action is completed. But because of the error it never completes and the animation will play forever.
Sometimes it does work though, but more often it doesn't work. Sometimes refreshing the browser "solves" it.
I am using firefox, latest version, clearing cookies doesn't improve it.
Also, being forced to delete one item at a time is VERY annoying.
It's pretty sad, collections is something I use a lot, and it's an essential part of my eBay shopping experience. But it's barely useable now.
When it was just introduced it worked perfectly, and then they removed the menu-item under "my eBay", and hid the collections under the profilie icon.
And then these errors and functionality delete appeared. Is eBay trying to dump the collections?

Been having this issue for about 3 - 4 days now and it's extremely frustrating. I build race cars and use collections to basically have a wish list for the different cars I'm working on. Since collections crapped out a few days ago I've had to use my shopping cart as a way to save items that I plan on purchasing at some point. Now I have 32 items in my cart that I will be purchasing one at a time over a period of several months, not all at once. Let's pray I don't get tired or not pay attention and accidentally check out my whole cart at once to the tune of several thousand dollars...... talk about annoying!

I have issues from few years ago too.
At the moment I’m using a Mac with OS X El Capitan 10.11.6
Mainly I use Firefox 58.0.1 (64-bit). I noticed that I'm signed in during all the time in eBay excepting when I entry in one of my collections. Then the only thing I can visualise are empty / white boxes with titles under and I when I add items to them, it shows that is taking forever to add the items, so at some point I close the tab.
But it is quite interesting that if I go to the Safari version in my phone, I can visualise everything I added before when I had the problems, even the things when I closed the tabs. Another issue is that I can’t see the collections in the eBay app, there is no link to arrive there.
I also use (but not habitual) Safari 11.0.3 in my computer, it seems that everything is working normally there.
Conclusion, eBay need to put more people to dig in all this issues that the collections are giving. I hope they will fix this soon.
I will try to get in contact with the technical service.

I just finish the call with the technical service,
They check my Collections and they saw black boxes instead. I explained that it is happening since few years ago and everything I exposed before in the previous message, I also told them that I’m in this forum and are a lot of people with similar issues.
They told me that they know about some issues in the Collections and they are working in a new version of eBay for the desktop/laptop and also for phone and will release in the first quarter of the year.
I also asking if they are planning to stop them from eBay and they told me no, they are supporting the Collections because they think as we think, that is a great part of eBay to have.
