Missing notification for Sent / Accepted Best Offer

I sent a "best offer" to a seller,

it was NO notification, and there is still nothing,  for Sent / Accepted Best Offer in the "Bids / Offers" menu .

Apparently the seller accepted the offer, and i was automatically charged for the item, (which was surprise, it never auto-charged me before)  ?!?!

I looked in "Purchased History" and there was a purchase for which i was not notified nor aware of it? ..... and I almost purchased that item from different seller ....... second time.... 

So can someone fix the "Bids / Offers" notifications ?

And can you stop auto-charge me without my approval ?

Doing a "best offer" and if seller accepts you will be charged. Nothing new about this.

When you send an offer, you approved payment IF the seller accepts.

Sometimes there is no email sent as notification seems to be a glitch.

Also no one here can fix the notification or is charging you. This is buyers and sellers just like yourself, Not eBay corporate.

I just had an offer accepted and I've had it automatically charge the card on file, but I didn't get ANY KIND OF NOTIFICATION. I submitted feedback to Ebay about this when the pop up came to ask how my experience was. IMO this is a MAJOR oversight that's happened for years, from what I can tell in older posts. If it's intentional, its really really bad business practice. They can send me every tempting BUY IT NOW email but when my card is actually CHARGED, they cant notify me in any way? Some ppl complained that not being notified can result in them buying a different item and ending up paying for two of the same thing. When you buy anything from a website, you get an email notification immediately. And then one when it ships. I am so outraged about this simple feature that you'd think a major company would fix. Unless it's in their interest not to? I dont know.

Not good to not be notified.

Work around.-------------  Check to see after making offers.

Should not be a big issue for occasional buyers to keep track.
