Missing Sales on Manage Order Screen....

Has anyone else made a sale, received a confirmation from PayPal regarding the Payment but nothing from eBay? To add to this the sale is missing from My eBay "Orders" page as if it never happened. This was a sale that happened today not and old sale. I shipped it and called in. After battling the online contact us **bleep** I finally lied about why I wanted to contact just to get through and get a code. I then talked with a rep after waiting 30 mins and was told they are aware of the situation.

So let me get this right... they know but don't inform sellers of this issue? With so many ways to let sellers know of a known issue they can't be bothered? At first I thought the PayPal notification was a phishing attempt but after logging into PayPal confirmed it was real so I shipped out the product.

If we are late it is shown a defect. If we ship we could get scammed (if it was not real).

Am I wrong in being disappointed with the service eBay gives it sellers?

I have the same issue.  Also check your listings the item you sold may still be live on Ebay.

The rep told me not to ship until the sale comes through on Ebay so I checked and sure enough it is still live even though it was paid for.

This very thing happened to me this morning!

eBay Techs had me refund the buyer's money through paypal, then END the 'still active' item from eBay and then RELIST it and then notify Buyer that ebay and paypal had a communication glitch and that the money had been refunded and that it has been relisted as a new item ready for them to re-purchase. I did all of this. I have NOT heard from the buyer.

I feel like their glitch just  cost  me a sale... and eBay just lost a sale.... why wouldn't they want to make sure this was resolved between the parties as well as to fix the glitch so it  doesn't keep happening... everybody just  loses.

I shipped my product using only the PayPal notification and information from logging into PayPal directly. The agent told me to ship it as I would be covered as it is just a glitch.

Sad to see the mixed messages they are giving which makes matters worse.

Same thing has happened to me.  I'm simply going to ship the item with Paypal info and then end the active listing.  I have no idea what else to do.

This is the email I received from Seller Support regarding this issue

"Thank you for contacting eBay regarding the item sold recently and the transaction not recorded on the site.

Let me share yesterday PayPal witnessed issues with their payment processor system. We at eBay UK offer our checkout process with help of PayPal saw a significant impact. Both our buyers and sellers were impacted due to the issue. The payments either declined, remained pending or the payments were deducted with no transaction on our site. The issues lasted for approximately 3 hours.

I understand that the buyer ''xxxx" had purchased the item 'Wild Flower Centre Frost Etch' for which I tried to view the details and can see that payment has been reversed. In this case, I would suggest you to communicate with the buyer and ask them to contact PayPal and cancel the payment from their end which was made while purchasing this item.

Once the payment is cancelled and if the buyer is still interested in purchasing the item then you may ask them to purchase the item again. Also, the issue has been resolved now so you and the buyer will face no issue in completing the transaction"

Not only orders are missing/not registered, We had few buyers contacted us, told us they are unable to complete purchase. some buyer try the 2nd day and was able to finish the purchase and made payment.

This makes us wonder how many orders we missed or buyer unable to complete ordering process and just walk away? eBay need to get this fix ASAP.

I had them call me only to have no one on the line. Is there a way to email them?
