Why do I keep getting the message "You've exceeded the maximum number of messages you can send. Please wait 24 hours to send more messages."?

I've been trying over several days and still get this message - so I can't reply to my customer's question!!

Others have been getting the same message recently -- it is likely due to a bug, or else eBay has set the number of allowable messages threshold too low.

You may still be able to send a message by going to the user's feedback or profile page and composing a new message there using the "Contact" link.
