Messages not appearing in sent folder

Is anyone experiencing an issue with their sent folder? A customer messaged me this morning about an item, I replied twice. I checked my sent folder and nothing is appearing. 

But I am getting my "sent" message in my gmail account

Yes, it happened to me last week the same exact thing. Two days later, they finally appeared under my "sent messages" must be another Ebay glitch.

If they are going, the customers are gonna think I am an over achiever\, because I tried several, several times before I realized that.

Exactly that's why Im not going overboard with the messages. When I pressed the initial message, it says that I replied to her. Tried calling Ebay but it seems like they are dealing with a ton of issues right now.

Do you know if the customer is receiving the message? and we just cant see it?

I sent a few messages to potential buyer after seeing your post I checked my sent folder and there was no record of those messages. I logged into a test account and pulled up one of my listings and sent my self a test message. The test message did not appear in sent folder and in my seller accounts inbox. It looks like at this time messages are not being sent ore received. Also it is not clear if the messages are being left in a que waiting to go out.  It may turn out that they were lost and you might want to resend any communications with buyers or sellers in the next few days.

my gmail account did have record of the messages so it may be ebay messages is just not updating right away

I looked closer at my gmail and it only had records of emails I received but no records of replies I sent those communications do not look like they have gone out.

I have attached a picture of what I see on my side. It clearly says that the message was sent out today the 20th.

Happening to me too. I sent a message this morning. But I don't know if I checked the box to send it also to my email so I don't have any record of it now. I will try re-sending and see what happens.
They are having numerous problems this morning with all areas of ebay, it would just be nice to know for sure if the message will get through eventually.

Also, I'm sure it's possible that even if the buyer got the message, any reply to me could be lost in the limbo....

I am having the same issue with emails I sent (and also trouble printing labels).  Hopefully these issues will be fixed quickly.

The test message I sent to my seller account finally showed up in my seller accounts inbox. But the account I used to send the message still has no record in the sent folder. I also noticed in my Gmail these are other messages that I was sent that have not appeared in my ebay inbox. I would guess at this time the messages may be going out with some delay but would suggest copying every message you send to a not pad and in a few days resend each just incase you are dealing with a buyer with a issue with the item they bought.

As a buyer, I've had similar issues over the last 2 days trying to contact a seller I had purchased from but kept getting a red error message before I even added any text:

Had to do it via direct contact page ("not about an item") to get through. Although both did show in my Sent Messages, only the direct contact message was answered (so maybe the one from the listing didn't go any further than Sent).

Today I had the same problem as mentioned by others of sending a "details about item" question to another seller with a copy in my gmail but 'no show' in my Sent Messages.

I'm wondering if this has something to do with how many internet sites & businesses, like eBay, are having to change their OSs to prepare for the elimination of Adobe Flash by 2020, as they announced in 2017:
