Messages are not working

Hi is anyone having problems sending and receiving messages? I can send the message but when i go to my sent folders the messages are not there and i know the other memeber is not receiving them.

Yes but only in the reply with offer mode. The regular messages to members works for me.

Having the same problem, at first I couldn't send messages, then I could not open cases, now I can't view my messages entirely.

I have been having issues with no response to questions sent to sellers for at least 3 weeks now. I just recently was able to get a seller to respond and he said he had recieve only one out of 2 messages I sent. I followed up with 3 messages of which he has responded to none. I'm guessing he didn't recieve any. I'm unable to make purchases without communication. I've looked for a way to get technical support on this but couldn't find a way which is why I'm posting here.

Same problem I trying to answer a seller about an open case cause my item has not been delivered but i cant sent my message to the seller. After I write the message to the seller and click send message, It gets me back to the previous page before i selected the option to reply the seller. What is happening? !!!

I'm seeing the same problem. Was going to call ebay, but their wait time is now 20 minutes. LOL.

I'm not seeing new messages sent to me by users. I can only see them in my email account which is linked to my eBay account.

IF you have an email connected to your eBay account, you'll be able to see messages from users there. This can be a different email account than the one linked to your PayPal acount.

This has got to be a big problem for eBay.

mine are not working either just wasted 30 minutes on phone trying to explain to the person that i could see the messages on my email but not on ebay message, she kept thinking it was a post message from the buyer and that they got my email after the purchase, i said no it's an ebay message with the ebay logo and the link to the item smh. I gave up so at least i am glad i am not the only one. Ledsimpson

Well I don't think this problem has been resolved. As a buyer my messages don't seem to be going through to the seller and I don't think the seller's messages are getting through to me. This needs to be fixed.

The last message received was on oct 13, 2017. How do you purchase without talking to buyer, with no inquires whatsover. eBay has got to just stop this.  This is really embarrassing now.

Could have something to do with eBay's new policy which will charge you for a sale even if a buyer does not accept an offer because eBay thinks you've make the sale outside of eBay. I'm also not getting email sale notifications in a timely fashion. Some are coming through days late.

I recently got my first negative feedback ever and I have been using eBay since 1999 because the buyer of one of my items didn't get a message I sent from my phone. After it was sent I got the "Message sent" box on screen. I guess I just can't trust it moving forward and I will have to log in from a PC to send messages.
