Member to Member Messaging Not Working

Saturday 11/11/2017 I discovered that a message from another member did not show up in my ebay inbox.  I became aware of it when looking at my personal email. 

I called ebay customer support and first they went through my communication settings and told me everything is set up correctly.  Then they put me on hold and came back saying that this problem has already been reported by other members and a repair request had already been issued. 

They assured me that the problem was only with member to member messaging and I would not miss any messages from ebay.  I'm not so sure of that, and have no way to verify because many of the ebay promotion messages don't come to my personal email account. 

I thought they had it fixed on Sunday, but yesterday I received 2 personal email messages from ebay that were sent by ebay members that still have not shown up in my ebay inbox.   Anyone else having this issue? or heard when it might be fixed? 

Kind of a pain to have to jump back and forth between the ebay screens and my personal email screens to see if potential buyers have a question on any of my items.

I have been having the same problem for a while (several months). 

I will receive a ebay messages in my personal email, but when I go to my ebay account to respond to a customer, the message in not there.   I received 2 messages from a buyer yesterday.  Neither one of them is in my ebay messages inbox.  I checked "Trash", "Archived Messages", "Folders" and everything else I can think of and the messages are not there.  

Spent a half hour on phone with ebay technical support yesterday.  They said they can see the messages from their end.  They have no idea why this is happening and seem to be confused.  I have no restrictions or violations on my account.  They said they will look into it and get back to me tomorrow (which is today). 

Based on other forums I have read on this subject, I am not very hopeful that they will get back to me.  It seems that people have been having issues since April.  Very frustrating to say the least.  

If I get a resolution, I will be sure to post it here.

Me too, I have gotten messages from other members with no message in my ebay messages.....I have also NOT been getting emails when there ARE messages in my messages! 

Yes, I called support (or should we call them LACK of support since they seemed confused as to why this is happening), we checked my setting (all good), and they said to contact them again if it continued to happen ...well it is STILL happening. I do not get ANY emails from ebay--not items ending, won, outbid, nada...but a few member emails (which are not in the messages) I HAVE been getting!

Yeah, something is pretty dang messed up here--get the elves to fix it for my xmas gift this year please!
