Major Ebay cart problems.

Seems like they've been having problems so long that they would have fixed them by now. But noooooo,  their Cart is even worse than ever. Request invoice to seller link is grayed out and dead.  And to top it off, they are dividing up large orders so Paypal will charge a fee for each payment. A recent seller bought 11 items and they divided it up into 5 payments. When she asked for a shipping refund, I told her she should have made one payment and she insisted she did.  It's funny how all of ebay's glitches seems to work out in their favor.

Also if you can not request a invoice you have to pay full price on shipping. While most sellers will combine and issue a partial refund for the difference eBay still takes 10 percent of the full shipping cost from the seller. This is probably the real reason the invoice option is greyed out. Also if the seller is running a promotion or sale I have heard for the sale items the invoice option is not available. This could also be why the option is not available. One thing you might want to look at is the sellers description and look to see if they say they offer combined shipping. If it is not mentioned then they may not offer it. Another way to check this is click on message seller from the listing.  Then from the options for the reason why you want to message the seller click on combined shipping. If the seller does not offer this option eBay's messaging system will tell you can not contact them for that specific reason.
