MY LISTINGS SEEM TO VANISH!

I keep all my listings on excel and know where all of my items are located when one sells.  I know what date I listed it and record when it was sold.  Why are listings (good till cancelled) vanishing 5 months after listing.  Is there anything I can do?  This is making me go nuts.  I am not sure exactly what to do.

Nothing you can do. All you can do is (try to) keep track of your listed inventory and relist them as you find the poofed ones.

How often does that happen?  Seems insane.  How do I know when they delete.  Its making me so ANNOYED.

You don't know. They don't appear anywhere. Not in deleted or sold or unsold. They just "poof".

We still after many years can't pin down whether they do that while they're still live or they somehow vanish when they end (when we had 30 day FP and they DID end) or whether now they just fail to renew and rollover with GTC.

Mind you, poofed listings is better than the other long ongoing issue or having sold listings relist all on their own.
