Listing problems involving shipping method

Is anyone else having an issue with listing anything today? I keep trying to list something and every time I get to the shipping method it clears it out and says I need to choose a shipping method.  The weight and the size also disappears.

Hey @pinksioux . Typically when sellers report this it's because their account is opted in to business policies but they're trying to list with the quick listing tool which doesn't support business policies.

 

So you can either switch to Seller Hub and the unified (business) listing tool, or you can opt out of biz policies and keep using the quick lister.

 

There should be an error message at the top of the listing form that directs you Seller Hub and the unified lister.

Manage and edit biz policies, or disable them to go back to how you used to set up your listings on this page.

Mine is doing the same thing.  I am having to select the shipping method every single time.  I swear it feels like Ebay goes backwards in time to create a listing.  Every change makes it slower and slower.

Your issue sounds different @gallowayscards because you're able to select a shipping method, where the OP cannot get shipping to stick without the info being cleared. Sellers are expected to select a shipping method each time, but you can avoid that step if you create a listing template with shipping preset for your trading cards. Another option is to set up business policies where you can set up a default shipping policy.

Hello again! Is it possible that I'm running into a weird glitch? I already use Business Policies and I didn't have a problem listing a few days ago. I list the way that I always have.

Did you scroll to the top of the listing form to look for the message posted in my above screenshot @pinksioux ? It's possible you were somehow switched to the quick lister.

I have had the problem intermittently today. Been listing multiples in the same category.

I may not be explaining myself clearly. I've always clicked on Sell at the top of the page. Is that what you're saying quick lister is? And I didn't touch anything in Business Policies before this happened this morning. So, what I'm trying to understand is how to be able to just click Sell and have my new listings post again. Help...I'm so confused! Also, do you suggest that I use the new Hub?
