This glitch with the QR codes placed next to the shipping address and in the bottom right hand corner of the label (see below ... addresses, zip, and tracking number redacted) appeared out of nowhere about a month ago. I thought it would get fixed but it's still there. Is anyone else seeing this? I've tried everything I could think of (different browser, etc.) and can't get rid of it without laboriously using a photo editor to brush them out.

There are a few issues we are still waiting for fixes on for over a month now.

Months later on this one and still not fixed.

Because it is not a glitch.

"Because it is not a glitch. "
Agreed. It is another eBay method to "enhance the selling experience."
Do we feel enhanced yet?

@ltgrtaylor What OS, Browser, and printer model are you using? Is your browser set to open PDF files with Adobe or some other reader?

Win10. I've tried Firefox, Explorer, Chrome... same on all. I save all my labels as a .PDF Foxit is my primary reader. I've been buying labels the same way for more than 10 years. Suddenly this glitch appears out of nowhere and won't go away.

eBay said that is the new label format so it's not a glitch

Nope. We have had the new label for awhile now.

TBH, I'm not sure I understand why those QR codes are bothersome. Whether the post office uses them internally or not, I don't know but for tracking, it's the bar code that is scanned and works just as it always has.

I misunderstood, I thought the QR code was obscuring or interfering with something else on the label. The QR is nothing new, UPS and FedEx already are using them, and USPS is now doing the same. The advantage of the QR code is that besides holding additional information it has built in error correction, which can recover the data even from a damaged label.

So you guys are all saying that this is now the "normal" USPS label format for buying shipping through eBay? I just thought it was very weird looking. I've been buying and selling online for many years and have never seen a label look like that: why are there 2 QR codes? Also, they are far tinier than the typical QR label code, and I've never seen them located in the far lower RH corner or jammed close to the mailing address (disrupting the left label border) like they are in this one.
If all you guys are saying this is what the label is supposed to look like (and has been for the past few months), then I'll quit being concerned about it.

Yes, it is the new norm and all third party postage providers are adding it per USPS guidelines.
QR codes comes in many flavors and levels of error correction capability, all that factors that affect size and look.
