Is there a glitch?

I start my listings on my laptop as usual, save them, then go to finish them By adding photos with my iPhone as usual,

but Now all the item specifics I previously filled in are now empty!

Whats going on ?

The go around I have found for this is to list the item from my laptop with

a generic photo, then revise the listing with my iPhone to upload the proper photos.

Please fix soon as this creates double the workload.

Can confirm this is still happening as of 8/21. It first happened to me a year ago, then stopped for a while, now suddenly it's back. Item specifics saved on drafts in desktop are lost when adding photos on mobile. It's super annoying since it wipes out work and slows things down.

Also I force-stopped, deleted cache, uninstalled ebay, restarted my phone, and it's still doing the same thing, so it is definitely a bug within the app itself. Ebay needs to address this. Obviously, they probably won't, but they really need to.

Oh, also it seems to wipe out your ad rate and turns off promotional ads if you have that set. And if you go into your item specifics first and touch each one, then add photos, it seems to keep most or all of the specifics...but that also takes extra time so it's not really a solution.

Thanks for these reports! I've filed a ticket with the tech team and added all usernames I could find since this has started back up. While we don't have timeframes to provide with tech issues like this, I will follow-up if they provide me with info to share or follow-up questions to ask. Thanks!

*When you are experiencing this, is it a brand new listing from scratch?

Most of the listings are new from scratch. Some are from the ebay "Sell now" button. The problems happen when I enter the info via my desktop computer and then save as a draft (otherwise it won't work). Then I will open the mobile phone app and up load photos to the listing I created. I hit the back button and the mobile app says it saved my listing. When I open the listing on my desktop later almost all of the drop down boxes and population fields are blank. And the "+add custom item specific" fields are always erased. But when start to enter the info again my browser remembers what I put in there and offers it as a suggestion. The condition and description area are fine and don't change. Sometimes even the shipping weight and size go blank. I've been doing this for well over a year and have not had any issues until recently.

I am not changing anything except the photos. To be honest, I don't like listing from the app.
