My usual search that I do every AM and then later in the day usually has over 12,000 items and in between searches from AM to evening, I have several pages of items to go through..Not now. I'm down from 12,000 items to 2.000 items and only 5-10 new items since the last time I searched 12 hours earlier. I know there are listing I'm not being shown.

YES.. ABSOLUTELY...
Sellers are paying $10,000s in listing fees and eBay isn't showing them.

Read this post! It is a REAL bug.. Affecting $100s worth of biling for listing fees and listing upgrade that were NOT delivered. (PER MONTH, JUST FOR MY ACCOUNT)
Read my post, contains a LOT of details, analytics as well as reference numbers to tickets I created, I have read on the forum that everyone who complains is given a different excuse from eBay.. the reality is that after 10h of calls with eBay over 6 days, it is CONFIRMED that there is a bug.

IMPORTANT: They will brush you off with many excuses (read my thread to see the kind of responses I have received from them as they try to avoid dealing with it). They will ACTIVELY sell you a bill of goods on the issue. I received a response from email support that said it's MY fault that they billed me for listings, but didn't show it because of rules per region.. There wasn't.. in fact, products that fell under those "RULES" were appearing and disappearing after refreshing the page.. It's a SOFTWARE BUG.
THE BOTTOM LINE:
- You are paying listing fees that are NOT getting honored
- You are paying upgrade fees that are NOT getting honored
When you pay money for a service, you HAVE to receive it..
Do NOT let eBay tell you that it's normal, it isn't.. There isn't a billing company in the world that will honor a payment to services NOT delivered. You are not playing lottery on eBay, you are PAYING for listing/exposure.
EVEN if ALL your products show on your store, but not your profile, you are PAYING extra for the store, and extra for listing.. BOTH transactions have to be honored by law, they can't bill you if they don't give you what you paid for.. Paypal won't allow it.

I talked to an eBay support manager who said it will take minimum 2weeks to fix this screw up. in the meantime, they will keep billing people for services they dont honor.. I was told this directly by a manager

I have the same issue, what is going on?? The search algorithms(?) are bugging big time. The search results show only maybe 5% of what it should show. Only one page of results when I know there are results for dozens of pages. It shows a few results and then it continues with " we found xxx amount of results from international sellers". But the seller is the same!
It's pain in the ass to find the items that you know exists but doesn't show up in the search.
I buy from a big US seller and always use the "see other items" feature, then I use keywords. And that's broken. I have several items listed in my bids/offers list from the same seller, and each of them has different feedback amount after the seller's name.
Please eBay, fix this soon.
