I had a listing removed owing to a safety policy issue. I'd had the item for sale for a couple of years and didn't know I wasn't able to sell it.
So they removed the listing but it's still showing (only to me) in my unsold listings and there's no way to remove it.
My sales and visibility tanked this month. Is this showing as some sort of violation and hurting my eBay presence? Really getting concerned here.

Make sure you go in and "end listing". They say they remove the item but they don't actually end it. I always have to manually do that. Then it annoyingly sits in your unsold items until the 90 day window is up. Feels like they do this to shame you...look what you did, don't do it again.
The more they use AI the more of these we will get. I don't believe getting one hurts sales as long as you remove the listing. We have had a few and never noticed a sales dip for it. We get sales dips every time a package is delayed in the mail system. A big problem in Winter. You can thank AI for that too.

If you have the eBay app you can delete the listing that was ended by eBay.
I know it sounds weird, but that was the only way I could get a listing that eBay ended deleted. Once deleted from your ended listings in the app it will also be gone in desktop mode.
Your listing being ended by eBay has nothing to do with your current sales situation. Sales are down for a lot of sellers right now.
