Internal Server Error and other issues

Lately the eB site has been getting a bit unstable and exhibits small problems here and there.  I know the Internal Server Error issue has been going on for some time now, but while it's temporarily fixed, it happens again recently.  Once I tried to log into eB (on desktop environment) and the error message shows up, complete with a bunch of hash data values.  Another time I tried to check out from an order and shortly after clicking the checkout (or whatever) button the error message shows up almost immediately.  Luckily I was able to go back to complete the order without being incurred double charge or such.  But it's just annoying when such message shows up out of nowhere, and in no particular pattern.

Now, the other thing: I have problems accessing some of my account details, such as registered address, phone number, email and such.  When I need to view and/or edit such info, the system normally asks to re-enter the login password.  But in this case, right after doing so, I'm being repeatedly prompted to re-enter the password, over and over again.  In other words, I'm stuck at that "login" page and can eventually NOT able to access the said account details.  Other options such as editing security questions, viewing and editing shipping addresses etc. are not affected by this operation.  Have sent in a bug report regarding this but I" not sure if this is being addressed as we speak.

Anyway can someone please help?

Re: Internal Server Error and other issues

eBay error messages are not always very descriptive, and in some cases very different errors can lead to the same error page.

Some errors (such as "We looked everywhere") can be the result of a broken link, so if trying again does not work, using a different link from a different page may work better. For some problems, going to a different site such as ebay.ca can work if there is a problem specifically with ebay.com.

If you are having problems getting through the sign-in process again to change account settings, sometimes using a different browser or a different device may help; some browsers seem to be better at this than others. There can also be problems with cookies, add-ons or browser settings, and switching to another browser can be a good way to diagnose problems without having to change your settings, or even to act as a workaround. VPNs, script blockers and custom firewalls can also cause problems signing in or getting through the verification process.

Lately many desktop browser users have experienced issues with ad blockers, and with Enhanced Tracking Protection in Firefox -- disabling those temporarily on ebay.com or using another browser may help if you are having problems with pages not loading properly or functions not working. Refreshing a page while holding down the shift key to bypass the browser cache may also help.
