I received an item but still shows in transit so the seller cannot get the funds I paid. How to resolve??

eBay will pay the seller eventually, it is just faster if tracking shows delivery.

There's nothing you can do.

Seller has to wait until tracking is updated or the hold on the funds is released.

The seller probably has the mistaken idea that he will be paid 3 days after delivery, and does not realize he is more likely to wait 30 days.
