How to contact a real person for customer support? This is ridiculous. You locked me out of my account and you want to call me but the phone number is not valid now but I can not change my number because you want to call me on my invalid number. Where to talk to a human because this has had me running around in circles for days

If you have a general question that does not involve account details, you can try asking a question here or on one of the other discussion boards. Lots of experienced users can offer advice and suggestions.
If you need to contact eBay and you are in North America, you can request a call back from eBay:
Or you may be able to contact eBay via social media:

1. "Help and Contact" bottom of any page.
2. Or you could post your problem here and we might be able to help. Not every issue requires CS contact.
3. FYI: Every time you use the word "you" in your message, you're in error. This Board is made up of fellow eBayers, buyers and sellers just like you, who volunteer our time here to help others when we can. We aren't responsible for any problems you may be having but we would certainly like to help, if we can.

If you are unable to sign in to your account to receive a call back, see here:
The page referenced there may have changed since that was posted, but the procedure may still work if you get a number you can call or you are prompted for a passcode.
Otherwise use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of that page. If you are not signed in when you do that, you should see this:
Choose "I can't sign in" and see what options you have from there. Or try the "Contact an agent" option and see what information you are required to provide.
