How to delete Messages in Inbox and Sent?

it comes up saying "Oops. Something went wrong. Please try again later." when i try to delete certain messages but other messages will delete straight away. Anyone know how to solve this?

If you are having issues moving messages to the trash, one workaround is to create a new folder, and move the messages to that folder. If you want you can delete the folder directly or continue to use it as an alternate trash location. Messages in the trash are deleted by eBay after a set period of time (six months?).
