I get a promotional email from ebay daily as far as I can tell. I've tried everything, including calling and speaking with a pseudo-human representative who said that they unsubscribed me from promotional emails. To no avail; the ebay marketing emails just keep coming. There are zero boxes checked on the page of preferences for 'Marketing Communications' on my ebay account. I would really like to minimize the daily spam I get, and this is the only situation where I am at a complete wall. I don't want to delete my account or block all emails from ebay, but am not sure what other options I have. Any help would be appreciated.

Set up a filter rule in your email inbox to divert some or all of your eBay emails to a separate folder to keep your inbox from getting overrun.

This is not an acceptable solution; this doesn't reduce the spam coming at me from ebay. Ebay has a system set up that is supposed to allow me to select what emails I receive from them, but that system is broken. Having every ebay member set up a complex system within their own email program to try to filter out the crap without blocking the important emails from ebay is not an effective or efficient solution.

In some cases, sellers save your e-mail address for their promotional e-mails. They then send them to you directly, outside of eBay. This may be what you have. In such a case, you can try to block them or unsubscribe from them, either in the message itself, or in your e-mail provider's options. I get an occasional one myself. Not sure if this is what you have. Does is have eBay logos anywhere in it, perhaps multiple places?
