Everyday I get the message
You Qualify For eBay Guaranteed Delivery
Drive sales by making your listings searchable to buyers who look for a guaranteed delivery date.
While I have been in guaranteed delivery for some time now. eBay took it away without any message or notice. So I sign up again. Next day I am out again. This same thing is happening on multiple accounts so it is a eBay glitch for sure.

OMG! Same thing happening here. My sales are down to zero for a long time now. I am waiting on a cust serv callback on a weekend for it. I opted in on day 1 many years ago with the handling time option. Lately day after day it bumps me out for no reason. Who knows WT Fheck is going on. I am sure the "ebay customer service" of a child in the Phillipines will NOT even understand or believe me. They will simply instruct how to enable the feature, as if after doing it over and over I still don't have it down. LOL I even do it in my sleep. I am willing to bet that in the end it has something to do with slower ship speeds and automated promise times by ebay.

AFAIK the handling time GD has been phased out. It only works for door to door now.

@chameleoncollectibles @xchains
You can find it on this page https://pages.ebay.com/seller-center/shipping/estimated-delivery-dates.html#m22_tb_a1__7
It's under the "what if I signed up for GD" section
All eligible listings will show the updated messaging. As estimated delivery dates will no longer show “Guaranteed by” messaging, we are retiring the handling time option for Guaranteed Delivery. Sellers opted into the Door-to-Door option will see no change in how the delivery dates are calculated and eligible listings will reflect “Get it by” for the promised delivery date.

Hi! I am sorry to bother you but cant get a straight answer from cust service that appears to be unaware of the same changes you are telling me of. PLEASE help me. i have bad chemobrain and would like to understand simply so handling time phased out - if I opt into guaranteed delivery then
1) any package arriving after THEIR estimate I would be subject to refund?
2)Not them?
3) If I put an extra day handling over my same-day would that help?
4) are the estimates accounting for the USPS delayed first class now?
any other info can only help Thank you!!!

I've never used either option myself, but from what I gather you can now only opt in to GD if you're using the door to door option, which from what I've read involves a lot of jumping through hoops to get it approved. And yes, in that option the seller pays if it's late.
The only way to have (what used to be called) GD on your listings now is to offer free shipping and ebay will slap a banner on your listing saying "get it by" and a date.
