> On may 29th I purchased a $75 ebay gift card from a Fred Meyer store. The money was properly loaded onto the gift card. I went home and attempted to purchase 4 items ( one item with a quantity of 4 ). The total was $77.00 since I was short $2 I entered my debit card along with the gift card to cover the $77 transaction. However my debit card was declined because it was an international transaction and my card went set up for that. The transaction was never completed and the $75 never went back onto the gift card. I called right away and was told it would take 5 days to be resolved. I didn’t like that answer so a manage got in the line and assured me she would get back to me within 24 hours. After waiting 3 days I called again and was told that I was Mis informed.earlier and it will be 7 days to be resolved. 7 days later I called back and was told I needed to upload my reciept and wait 5 days to be resolved after three days or so i calls back ( today ) and was told it would be 24 hours to be resolved since they just sent an email to the gift card department. The last rep / manager I spoke to was Leaha This is insane. On July 2nd three days after the purchase of the gift card i went ahead and completed the transaction with a different debit card because I couldn’t wait for this to get resolved. Now they say the transaction was completed and I got my gift card money already. I have to explain every time I bought that with my own debit card and not the gift card. They also try to transfer me to fraud department. This is not fraud. Just a glitch in your system. They have transferred me to the ordering departing ti help me with my order since I’m having trouble. The trouble is the money on the gift card says zero balance when it abound say $75.
