I have sold an item on eBay priority mail today The buyer has gotten the product but USPS did not update their tracking with my tracking number how do I get a hold of eBay to get my money it's been over a week The buyer messaged me the day he got it and told me thank you he has left me a positive feedback but for some reason I can't get my payment to come off of hold status

You're a new seller and the item sold for $1000, so they'll hold the funds for 30 days.

What do you mean when you say

Even if it shows delivered, you are probably going to be in the "New Seller" status, and will have to wait for 30 days for your payout. (it is a routine hold as described in the policy pages)

But, in the meantime, make sure the tracking is uploaded to your ebay sale

You are a new seller, new sellers can expect to have their payouts held for up to 30 days or longer depending on the circumstances. Read Payments on Hold policy

When an item gets delivered and the tracking still shows in transit, you can open a missing mail case on the USPS website or call the 800 number which can (YMMV) trigger them to update the tracking information. 

The others have posted why it may take 30 days for your funds to hold so i am only addressing the issue of items that are delivered by USPS but don't show on the tracking number.

Are you saying that the item was delivered today? If so, tracking can take several hours to update.
