For two days I have not received any emails regarding Followed Searches. How can this problem be fixed?

I second that! The last followed search emails I received what on 4/17/2017. Checked my spam/junk mail on my computer and online internet provider, all good. Checked my communication preference on Ebay and even added a new search to test with no luck. I still receive other Ebay notifications, so it is not my internet provider or computer blocking them.

I have no idea where on Ebay to send an email or chat to get technical assistance. On occasion I have experienced a day or two of notification interruption, but never this long. Anybody have any ideas? How do I contact Ebay?

Okay, I called Ebay yesterday, told the guy the problem, also told him I was not the only one that was having this issue. He checked my account and said everything was correct and he didn't know why I wasn't receiving the saved search emails. He said he would contact technical assistance and somebody would email me when it was fixed.

Ebay mod didn't like me quoting the form email I received, so that part was removed. Basically it said we will not receive followed search emails until May 1.

So what is the consensus that is broke? Ebay going to fix something? Mine stopped about 4/5 days ago... How about some Ebay Techs reply to some of these posts of the notifications stopping. I checked my settings, all the ones I currently want to receive are set to Real-time. Ebay????

It would have been nice if Ebay had sent an email out letting their users know that the followed searches email service would be down for a while. There are tons of posts on the community regarding members having this problem, but this is the first real answer from Ebay that I've seen. Others seem to get no help from Ebay service. I remember years ago that Ebay would post in the announcements when services would be down, of outages, and site service so members would know, but see nothing much but ads now. Thanks for posting the info.

Ebay probably doesn't want to commit to the May 1 date in case bugs show up and they can't meet the date.

Before prosperityallways' post was edited, it said there were site upgrades in the works that would temporarily suspend some member's email search notifications. Don't know why Ebay is being so secretive about it.

I called Ebay today since I've been having the problem since about April 17. The Ebay rep said my report was not the first one they had received, and she would send an alert to Ebay's tech staff. But she didn't say anything about that "May 1" date. I hope you're right, at least it means they're working on it.

I contacted the @askebay account on Twitter and they claimed to have no knowledge whatsoever of the probem, apparently they do not read these forums. This was the response:

Thanks for reaching out about this! We aren't receiving reports of the daily emails going out having issues. We also tested this & our system is working as designed. Have you checked with your email provider to ensure our emails aren't being flagged as spam or being placed in an automatic folder? Also, ensure that your Communication Preferences are set up correctly to receive emails. Keep us in the loop on this. We're happy to help! ^AE

I'd suggest that anyone who's on Twitter reach out to them so they understand this is not an isolated problem.

I am having trouble also with my searches. I missed a purchase because I did not know the item got posted.

That applies to emails for saved sellers. For followed searches you have two choices, real time or none.

Go to Account / communication preference/ scroll down to where it says, 'Email Frequency' and make sure it says 'daily'.

Ebay glitch had suddenly changed mine to 'weekly'.

Last emails I received were on 4-17-2017 and my ebay still shows I'm subscribed to my followed searches. I don't see any sense in looking for answers here as many people have the same issue with no resolve. Guess I'll have to call Ebay. I even pulled up a few of my searches and clicked on follow the other day and still no emails. Ebay, you've got a problem.

I confirmed that my settings were set to "real time" and it made no difference. Still not getting emails regarding my Followed Searches.

This was the relevant account settings item:

"Edit your buying notification preference and set your watched or outbid items for email and instant messaging"

Sorry, Rachel. No help.

People stopped posting in this thread at the end of April. Does this work again for other people? I haven't receveid any followed searches e-mail notifications since 18 April, neither from ebay.com nor ebay.de . Resubscribed to all my followed searches a few days ago, but still no e-mail notifications. It's been more than three weeks!
