Firefox has major issues when using it for eBay!

I just realized that when I am on Firefox and I want to click on a photo in a listing, that it doesn't Zoom to full page!  When I am on Google Chrome I have no problem.    This could be a huge problem for sellers, having their items not on full display for buyers.

I went to the help pages on Firefox but it is loaded with issues of using Firefox with eBay.  Not just this one.  I tried changing some settings to no avail.

I don't know if some categories on eBay still don't let you zoom photos.  But the ones that I checked on Google all had no problem.  The ones on Firefox were dead.

I guess it is time to change to another browser.  Firefox has gotten so convoluted, and they change things so much, that it makes it frustrating to use.

What other browsers are sellers/buyers using to search, sell and buy on eBay?

Two possible things to try.

Firefox users have been experiencing issues with pages not loading formatting correctly and in some cases appearing as text only. In many cases, temporarily disabling "Enhanced Tracking Protection" on eBay and reloading the page helps. See here:

Recently, many users are experiencing problems with My eBay pages not loading or features not working that seem to be cleared up by temporarily disabling an ad blocker (uBlock Origin seems to be mentioned quite a bit), so if you are using an ad blocker and experiencing problems with features not working, try disabling the ad blocker on that page.

Otherwise, in general I would recommend checking to see you have a recent version of Firefox, and installing any pending updates, and restarting your browser or computer, to see if that makes any difference.

Re: Firefox has major issues when using it for eBay!

Thank you for trying to help.  I tried disabling the "enhanced Tracking Protection, but that didn't work.  I checked to make sure Java was working and updated, and it was.  I don't use an ad Blocker.  Firefox just had an update in the last couple days, which I downloaded.

I don't think it is anything the user is going to solve.  Firefox makes too many changes and they aren't consistent.  Things not working the way the end users is expecting causes frustration.

Those photos going to full screen are essential for sales going well.  If they can't see the full photos, I can see INAD increase.  Because many people don't read descriptions, they buy with the photo.

I am using Firefox, and I still am able to enlarge images on eBay, provided they are large enough -- I believe that images must be above 800 pixels in the shortest dimension to be enlargeable on eBay.

I notice that the images in your listings appear to be 500 x 500 pixels, which is not enough to be enlargeable on eBay.

My FF 80. is working fine.  Note that pictures will work as small as 500 pixels on the longest size, to get the best results you want at least 1600 pixels on the longest side, especially for the mobile app.

I have no problem with the size of photos on Google Chrome.  They enlarge just fine.  They used to on Firefox.

YEA! I used CCleaner this morning and now my pictures enlarge on Firefox when I click on the photos in a listing.  Something was blocking it.   It is working fine now.  Updates can conflict with old instructions and they don't always debug everything.

There was no way I could go back and retake thousands of photos to make them larger.  Photos do not have to be over 1000 pixels to have them enlarge on Google Chrome or Firefox.
