FEDEX PAID EBAY LABELS NOT PRINTING

It wont let me  print my paid fedex label so I can ship. Im getting this red error when I try to print label.  "!There seem to be some issue processing your request"  and I can't go to paypal and print one, as fedex is billed through ebay. Please fix. Thanks

Make sure there is no PO Box anywhere as part of the address.

This occasionally happens to me and the only option is to create a new label for that order.  The happy part is that you aren't charged for the label until it's been scanned and weighed by the FedEx system so you won't be charged for the previous label.

I tried to do that but it wouldn’t even let me cancel and create a new one. I couldn’t do anything. I couldn’t even print a label for another carrier. I even drove to Fedex store to see if they could print my label out based on the tracking number, which they could not. I then called eBay and normally they can send the label to your email address but they had trouble on there end so they told me just to take it and ship it at the fedex store and pay for it, as the first label I won’t get charged, as it was never scanned by them. I told them it would be more expensive that way as I won’t get EBay shipping discount. They said they would reimburse any overage. It ended up being nearly $12 more. I’m hoping they will be honorable and reimburse that back. I don’t know yet. I’m waiting for fedex to scan and pick the package up from that location first, as they already had their pickup for that day. Then I’ll call eBay about reimbursement.

It was a home address, not a P.O. Box

If no PO box, then it could be some other format problem in the address.

You really need to open your own free FedEx account and link it to eBay.  This way you will get the same discount on the FedEx site if needed.  Actually better to ship on the FedEx site anyway, and not have ebay in the middle as shipper of record.  So much easier then to resolve any problems as you can deal directly with FedEx.

Good luck getting ebay to reimburse you.  Come back and let us know how that works out.

@rfmtm how did you link your FedEx account to eBay?   I've searched all over the FedEx.com site and can't find anything regarding linking to eBay and the FedEx support line didn't know how either.

Note for eBay discounts to show up, make sure you receive the confirmation email, and then it can take up to ten days to update your FedEx account rate tables.
