Error: Invalid Condition id when listing books

Some of my listings are blocked by the Error: The provided condition is invalid for the selected primary category id. Anybody know the specific meaning of this error? I have played around with the condition choice & the book category choice to no avail.

Perhaps provide a screen shoot of the error. and let us know what kind of book it is and the category you are using and the condition you are trying to use.

The error appears on fiction and non-fiction books with valid conditions (G, VG, etc) and with/without ISBNs apparently "at random" but consistently (multiple attempts over 2 months produced errors on the same books even though I changed the condition field on some of them). I have been using Turbo Lister for a long time & know it is not supported but upon finding “working solutions” for others' posts with this error (from sellers using other procedures for createing listings) which didn't actually produce a fix. I will wait and see. Thanks Dan

I think you may be confused by something. The Condition field in Turbo lister is for the choices...New, New other, and Used (there are other conditions). What you are describing sounds as if you are trying to rate the book's condition in this field. You need to use Item Specifics to rate the book's condition. There will be a limited set of conditions for item specifics. You must choose one of the available choices. Custom entries are no longer supported.

I am also having this issue. "Error: The provided condition is invalid for the selected primary category id." Not sure why someone marked this as solved - there has been no solution offered.
