Hello, my account got switched over to managed payments yesterday...I am now having an issue on any label I try to print when I choose to add shipcover insurance. I get a "Error creating label: Label could not be generated. Internal error." message. If I don't have shipcover selected I have no issues and the label will print. I know USPS provides insurance up to 100 dollars on priority packages...However, I have used shipcover ALOT on purchased items under 100 dollars simply because filing a claim and the entire refund/claim process is so much easier and smoother with shipcover than filing through the USPS. I have not had this issue until today when managed payments started...And my other seller account not yet under managed payments is not having this same issue....Awaiting eBay rep call now...Anyone else having this issue? Am I now not allowed to select shipcover if I ship an item worth under 100 dollars priority mail?

I got switched to managed payments today. My first label ptinted with ship cover fine but now I get the same error msg. Did you find out how to fix this.

So I just got off the phone with customer service rep...He says they are aware of the issue. They have had similar complaints. He had no answer as to if or when it will be fixed...He simply said they are aware of it and that the more people that report it the faster it will be resolved. So essentially no help...no answer other than they are aware and looking into it. Definitely is related to being switched over to managed payments ...that much he did say

Is anyone else having this issue? 2 days now and I cannot print a shipping label if I want to use shipcover insurance.....Is there a tech rep on this board that may be able to help me here...?

Same issue now on EBAY GULAG Payments cant use ship cover. Have many items that need insured and not really trying to use USPS for it. Ebay needs to get their house in order.

Issue Solved!! I was having the same issue (thanks eBay managed payments!) I solved it by going to bulk labeling and creating my labels that way. I was able to add ship cover and signature tracking, paid with my "pending" managed payment funds.

I sold two items Friday for $1000, managed payments said payout was today 8/10/20. Now it is saying payout is 8/11/20, so eBay gets to keep my money for FOUR DAYS!!! This whole system is a joke on every level, pure greed. I never thought a payout system would make me sing the praises of PayPal, but congrats eBay you have made thousands of sellers wish for the days of PayPal! I applied for 1stdibs today, and will be setting up an etsy account in the near future.

Bulk shipping page did the trick, Shipcover insurance added, paid with PayPal funds. But I figure it will only be a short time before this gets screwed up too.

Thanks coupondrew.... It worked for me as well. Still a little annoying you have to jump around due to technical issues on eBays end...But at least I can get shipcover on my items that I need to now. I got completely nowhere in MULTIPLE calls with ebay regarding the issue and never got anything other than "We are aware of the issue and working on it".

I even had one rep say to me..." I'm sorry the system isn't working how you would like it to at this time".... How I'd like it to? How about, How I pay for it to!!!! When's the last time there was an error in ebay getting their fees or payments? I pay fee after fee, store subscriptions on 3 different accounts and yet the technical issues & moreso customer service issues are a nightmare right now.... Here's just a thought....eBay is aware of the Covid issue and the strains it has put on their customer service support, tech support, etc. Yet lets go ahead as planned and enroll all these sellers on a new selling platform full of glitches and errors with no help from live individuals. Just brilliant. Greed at its finest!

I haven't used shipcover and have not been able to print 2 days after the switch to managed payments. It only gives me the option to pay with PayPal and not pending funds. Yesterday I shipped with pending funds, so that s strange. Also, it charged me for the label through PayPal, but I never received it. Then about 15 minutes later I got a PayPal refund. Will try the bulk labels to see if that helps.
