Sounds like an unintended consequence of a recent change by Ebay in how "sold" items are accessed. There should be a note on the link "this listing is no longer available, so we are showing you similiar items for sale" (something to that effect). It's hard to see, but the word listing is in a different blue and is, in fact, the link to the original sale item, if you click on it. Unfortunately, Ebay chose not to announce the change and the link is so obscure it has been created confusion in a number of cases where people are trying to get back to the original sold lisitng.
If that link is available and works, please post back to confirm the info.....I don't get the emails so can't test.......
