Ebay site issues...

Whatever ebay did a few days ago that has caused all these website issues and the major drop in sales for most of us I am noticing a pattern that falls back about 5 months ago.

I usually sell 60-100 items a day, this past week it has dropped down around 50 because of the changes/issues ebay has created. The pattern is my organic sales which normally averages about 20 a day has dropped down to 5 per day.

So whatever they did has set the site back about 5 months when it was starting to get better.

Same pattern here, the past 3 days has been horrible. I can't figure out why they do things like this.

James it is awful. Pathetic that a company this big can't figure it out. Everything has been in the garbage; my sales numbers and traffic...they just can't help but screw up the site and hurt their sellers. We need new blood in eBay to save the ship!

I opened a new store several months ago because I felt my 23 year old store was on a bad server or something to that effect. I started listing my clothing there, yesterday moved over a $150 shirt that I had in this store for over a year. Ended and sold similar at least twice. Moved it to the new store (using inkfrog) and it sold in less than 24 hours, same pictures, same title, nothing changed but the store. What are the chances?

I don't know what they're doing, but everything seems to be a complete mess, and it definitely is wrecking sales.  It almost feels as though they want us to fail.  Is it some sort of ploy to get us to spend more of our earnings on promotions and/or marketing?  I'm going to stay the course.... AGAIN...but this is really disheartening.  This rollercoaster sucks a**.

Yeah, normally my saturdays are $900-$1000, I've now gone 2 hours with nothing and have not even hit $400. They have destroyed my account.

Over 2 hours with no activity on eBay at all...(on a Friday) 

Not even offer to watchers, and that never happens with 60k items. Also my seller hub is still not working correctly and reading all the wrong numbers for totals. Worst day in the last 4 so far...

just checked my new store (under 2k listed) and had offers to send watchers. I hope they get this fixed fast

Yesterday did not have any site issues and did $1100.00. They shut down for maintenance last night for about 8 hours, 11pm to 7 am central time and now today I am getting all the errors I had the 4 days before on the website. Will this ever stop?

thank you will try this same has been happening to me that you are experiencing and I also have older store with 19k in feedback I feel sales are being suppressed 4 days zero sales never in my 15 years has this happened

I watch my impressions, watch my visits and watch my Top 20 search placements.

Everything appears to be operating. Visits and Impressions above normal. Conversion rate is normal for me.

My Top 20 Search placements are lower than normal and my sales are lower than normal. Either there is less interest in what I am selling or more competition for buyers.

My sales are off, but that is my problem to solve. It is not Ebay's problem.

I have gone 8 days now without ANY sales. I usually sell 4-8 per day. 8 straight days of no sales! I have never had that happen in my 5 years of selling. Never! Usually an update will knock me out for 2-3 days but never 8. I noticed my orders page looked different a couple of days ago so I know they are doing something. But, why do they have to shut us out to do updates? So frustrating.

Well, tech issues are eBays problem and they don't get fixed.

Sundays used to be my $1200 days, not even to $500 and my last sale was around 5:30 pm central. It is not 8:30 and decided to check down detector and there was a big spike at 5:30, so what happened ebay?

It's just been slow lately and they don't seem too concerned about it or fixing technical issues that are happening still. I'm constantly having this new module showing that I have new offers to review when I don't. It's been like this for probably 5 or 6 weeks now, after it was apparently 'fixed'.  It's frustrating.

Ahh yes the old ghost offer. I went thru that for over a year.
