Ebay Summer 2018 view counter not working - views not showing - dashes instead

For about 2 days in a row now, there has been this intermittent problem on Ebay under active listings. It seems to depend on the time of day. The view counter is not showing view numbers on most listings. Instead it shows dashes. Before this problem, there was also another intermittent problem where the view count would show up as zeros instead of dashes. Something is definitely wrong with the view counter and I ask eBay to please fix it since this is a very annoying issue. It is impossible to tell how a listing is doing without the view count. Please respond if you are also experiencing the same problem.

eBay continues to make changes without addressing existing problems -- this means stock prices are a greater concern than the seller.  eBay "accidentally" closed my store --- and 10,000 listings --- last year, resulting in the loss of hundreds of listings that were grandfathered prior to the closing, but no longer met photo requirements after the "accidental" closing. The eBay rep told me they made a mistake, then encouraged me to purchase a top-tier store (with a free three-month trial as an enticement). It appears that "accidents" simply serve as opportunties for eBay to sell more-expensive products to existing sellers.

I am having the same issue, thank god I looked inside the forums. This is happening not just to me but many others.

For me the glitch is in another level. Apart from the dashes on the views i have a multiple order amount that is paid and showing in my PayPal that is not showing at all on my monthly sales but...the fees deducted for that multiple order are showing in my dashboard correctly...How is that even possible?

Seller experience is becoming worse and worse it seems.

Great news!!! For me, views are back online, watchers are up, sales have spiked up this afternoon. Is it just me?? I get a good feeling that what we all have been upset about, was true. Items were not available as normal, for buyers to find in the last few weeks. They are finding them today 7-4-2018. I hope this is the last hiccup for awhile. Is anyone finding the same?

Well here is the real problem for most people; that icon you want us to use is so annoying that we use adblock to make it go away and then guess what happens next?  Yep the views get scrambled.  Get rid of views and degenerate watchers completely I'm only concerned with buyers, everything else is just unwanted noise.

Same here-just dashes....My large account is working where it used to only be dashes while this account was occasionally showing numbers is now only dashes.

I am having the same problem. Very difficult to see how a listing is doing. I have some smaller items so view listing is very important to decide whether to relist or not.

Hi Giorgoslontras1980. YES! You are correct! The view count has been working all day today (7/6)! I also have noticed an increase in sales! Like you, I also hope this is the last hiccup for a while!

I hope people are actually seeing the listings, If ebay's sales plumit, they'll fix the problem...

my pages been acting the same way for two weeks all ready getting frustrating,1700 views one minute 5 the next to zer0,this should have been fixed last week,one page will be fine the next page is crazy,also can put items on sale for months now

Still having this problem too since 6/22/18. What's up? Compensation - not sory would help until fixed.
