Ebay Checkout not working?

Hi i been having a problem with some items that i want and cant buy. When i  go to the checkout to some itemsit let me pay using the gift cards with the paypal button mark, but on others item everytime i mark the gift card the paypal area gets grey and i cannot click the button and when i go the checkout it doesnt let me finish and say that i have to finish the checkout with paypal or change the payment method. Also in these pages there are like a blue square with a message that says: Did you notice? eBay now offers new ways to pay at some checkouts. So anyone have the same problem?

Yes, I have been having the exact same issue as of yesterday. I am not sure how to resolve this as the Help section really has not been helpful.

Are you certain that the seller actually ships to your location?

Even if you use a forwarding service, the seller may not have set up the PayPal account to receive payments from accounts registered in locations that the seller does not ship to.

If the seller is new to selling, that raises the likelihood of the account not being set up to receive all payments correctly.

If you are able to pay other sellers, this would be a further indication that there is some problem at the seller's end. If you are not able to pay other sellers, that might indicate an issue on your end.
