Drafts are not saving properly

The "Specifics" section of my listings are not saving properly. They seem to be picking up erroneous information from prior sellers with similar products (books). Sometimes unique information, such as the ISBN number, isn't recording, either. I'm working on a Mac. Of course the chatbot can't understand.

Hey @ourcollections! I wanted to reach out and get more information on what you are experiencing. How do you start a listing? If you are starting from another sellers item could you share that item number? And finally if you have one, could you provide a screenshot of the section with the incorrect details you are seeing.

There are some part numbers like ISBN that are associated with eBay product catalog items; in that case, using the part number may associate your listing with eBay's product catalog and may import certain item-specifics from the catalog itself. This can cause problems if there are different versions or editions that use the same part number, or if the same part number is associated with different variations, quantities or bundles. You may need to leave out that part number entirely or uncheck a specific box when listing to dissociate your listing from eBay's product catalog.
