Draft and unsold items

I will be out of the country and not listing for 8/9 weeks.  Is there somewhere I can see /add as to the date the drafts and unsold items will disappear or do I have to do my own 60 day calculations.

Suggestions appreciated on how to keep them....do not want to have to start listing them all again.

Thank you.

Draft and unsold items

Hey @danlmoe. Go to the Unsold page in Seller Hub here:

https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/ended?status=UNSOLD_NOT_RELISTED

Your listings will expire after 90 days. You should see a column titled "end date" - if you don't, then use the customize link on the top right and add that column to your view. The end date tells you what date the listings ended, so 90 days from that they will expire.

Pretty easy to estimate if you just add 3 mos, but for an exact date you'd have to do the calculation. Ex: March 3 + 90 days is June 1 / April 3 +90 days is July 2 / May 3 + 90 days is Aug 1

Drafts are supposed to last longer, but I don't know how long and there are also issues the past couple of months with "disappearing drafts" so I wouldn't bank on them.

Suggestions for keeping the data:

- Use a 3rd party lister and download the data

- If it's a small number of listings, copy/paste the data or take screenshots and save to your computer

- There are tools that will help you download sections of data, but nothing comprehensive to get all the data and photos at once unless you use a third party lister

Keep in mind that even though you'll be away, you'll still be responsible for handling any return requests or payment disputes that might be filed in that time. Depending on the internet access where you'll be staying, I suggest setting up automated return rules which you can turn off when you're back to business so you don't have to check in to eBay every single day:

I also suggest setting up an Automatic Response through the Time Away settings. Scheduled Time Away isn't necessary since it has a 30 day limit, but the Automatic Response can be scheduled longer. It's essentially an out of office message that will go out to anybody that messages you, like a buyer with an item on their watch list that wants to know if it's still available, for example. https://www.ebay.com/vac/timeaway

Draft and unsold items

As per the eBay listing page, drafts expire and are deleted after 75 days. Besides using a 3rd party lister, or copying the information/pages, seems that the only way to keep these drafts there is by checking the box and selecting "copy drafts" from the menu on top. This will create a new copy of the draft and it will reset to 75 days again! (Editing and resaving, will not do anything.)
