Direct from artist

Is it me or is ebay categories not working correctly.  There doesn't appear to be a direct from artist category when doing a search.

Try this search. Most artists put those keywords in the title.

But thats not a catagory your just doing a search. And did you notice that to the left under catagory it all dealers resellers.

Yes.  It has changed.  It appears that they removed the Direct from Artist and placed all art listings under Dealers/Resellers.  We now have to change our search terms within our titles to reflect Direct From Artist.  We are Self-representing artists/Direct from Artist which has been an important category on eBay for many years.  This information came out under the Summer Seller Update to take effect in June 2017.

They must still be working on it. It seems the art catagory is a mess, not sure why they would merg all paintings into one.

Not sure either.  I hope they keep working on this.  I think it is final for now.

Thanks for the info. The guide covers all the changes by category, allowing the self-representing artist to choose where his/her paintings/prints fit among the various category names.
