This started last week, and it's continueing now. I'm scheduling auctions for tomorrow and use a standard template for info on payment, shipping etc in the description field. Been doing this for years and never had a problem.
Starting last week it is completely screwed up; Bold text gets moved to the end, random parts get centered while others do not, and it is almost impossible to figure out.
My overseas shipping rates are based on the sale price of an item, and since there is no way to have this simply calculated and displayed by ebay I have to manually add this info in the description field, and tell at least a dozen + customers each week to read that if they want to know what the shipping rates to their country will be. With this now almost completely unreadable, I'm afraid my sell prices on items will be lower.
Any idea what's going on here? I've cleared cache, emptied the description field and manually added it to each listing, but nothing is changing. This is a nightmare if ebay doesn't solve this immediately, but of course their so-called help desk did not understand and failed to help.
Any suggestions?

I see nothing at all in the description area for a number of listings.........

The strange thing is that when I create the listings it shows up correctly, which also means that I am not able to correct anything that displays wrong.

are you copy/pasting......using the html tab? Using an insert option? Doesn't look like you are using a 3rd party listing tool.
have you tried revising one, using same method as when you create a listing to see what that does?
lol........just throwing out some possible things.....I have read text created in MS Word sometimes goes bonkers when pasted into a listing.......

I have always clicked on "create similar" and just kept the template there.
I think I know what's happening; eBay randomly adds a large number of lines of HTML text when I create new listings, and afer a few listings each time there is so much (15 pages of it when I copy it to word) that it no longer displays correctly. Again, like I said, when I create the listing it appears correct, but only when I go back and look at it the description field is completely garbled.
This is so frustrating.

I only looked at one of your items and the listing looked ok except you are totally nuts to do this:
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING-PLEASE READ
We gladly ship to international buyers. Shipping cost and method depends on the sale price of the item and your location. We are happy to upgrade your shipment to a more secure shipping method. Please contact me before paying.
IF…Your invoice totals LESS THAN $50
Your item(s) will ship worldwide for a flat rate of just $4.95. No tracking or insurance is included with this option.
Do you realize if the buyer says they didn't receive the item you will be refunding in full? I wouldn't ship a cat hair without tracking that will say DELIVERED in the tracking tool. And you need signature delivery if it's over $750, which a lot of your items are over that.

Here's an example of what eBay makes of it:
This is what it's supposed to look like:

understand I have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.......lol........but looks like Last Pass, whatever it is, has caused some html problems in the last couple of wks...........

Never heard of lastpass, and I definitely don't have it on my MAC. So looks like this is a separate issues.
If I schedule listings it goes like this:
1st Listing: Everything is OK, except the list of countries has random spaces inserted
2nd Listing: Colored text in a line (Like the word TURKISH) gets moved to the end of the sentence.
3rd Listing: All of the above, plus bold text gets moved to the end of the sentence
So it gets worse with each listing. I found a workaround solution by copying HTML from a correct listing, but the 1st thing still happens
