In the past week, a number of sellers with templates have noticed this problem. It seems that the iframe is opened to only 400-500 pixels tall, when before it used to open to 20,000 pixels and shrink back. Text-only sellers would not see this problem because the initial iframe is just big enough to display their text.
The iframe content starts loading into this small window while other page content loads -- gets a little frozen, hanging up in my older system (XP with Firefox). After the hangup, which means after eBay's content has loaded, my system will then open the iframe to match the description height and eventually I am able to use my scrollbar to navigate the page.
But others with faster systems and newer browers (Firefox, Chrome, IE and Edge) are seeing iframes that do not open full height. The script that resizes the iframe is either not running or has timed out. Their content then displays in a small box with internal scrollbars.
I'm wondering if those systems have plugins or addons that interfere with the script that opens the iframe. My own experience shows that the delay exists, but at least my system can get past it.
